경력 Do-Yeong Kim is Professor (tenured) of Management, School of Business, Ajou University, South Korea. He was also an invited (honorary) professor of School of Business at Jiangxi University of Finance and Economics in China (2012 - 2015). Dr. Kim worked as a Research Fellow of Psychology at University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign and Assistant Professor of Psychology at Macquarie University, Sydney, Australia. He received B.A. in Psychology with Summa Cum Laude from the Ohio State University and earned his M.S. and Ph.D. in Social and Personality Psychology at the University of Washington. He earned the Tanaka Memorial Dissertation Award (Honorable Mention) in Ethnic Minority Psychology from the American Psychological Association. Do-Yeong Kim is on the editorial board serving as a consulting editor of Asian Journal of Social Psychology and working as a reviewer for numerous domestic and international scholarly journals. Prof. Kim also served as an evaluator for numerous national grants (e.g., NRF of Korea) and as a contributor and evaluator for Academic Reputation Survey performed by Times Higher Education World University Rankings with Elsevier (2012-2013, 2015-2016, 2016-2017, 2017-2018. 2018-2019, 2019-2020).  He was in charge of internationalization of Ajou University as Vice President for International Relations at Ajou University and Member of Committee for Internationalization Policy, Korean Council for University Education, South Korea. Dr. Kim is currently a director of Institute for Interdisciplinary Research in Business and Psychology AND Global Management (IIRBPGM), Ajou University. For further inquir(ies) about him, contact Dr. Do-Yeong Kim at kimd@ajou.ac.kr.
연구분야 Professor Do-Yeong Kim has broad interests in research from basic to applied sciences, which includes implicit social cognition, culture/acculturation, cross-cultural (global) management, career development, risk-taking and decision making (including debt management), conducting the studies in both laboratory and real-world settings such as business organization. His work on ‘cultural differences in risk taking: The group facilitation effect, published in Judgment and Decision Making’ coauthored with former doctoral student, Dr. Junsu Park,  has been awarded as one of the 50 Best Research Outcomes of the Year 2011, 2015, and the most accomplished researches over the past 10 years of the research projects in 2012, funded by the National Research Foundation (NRF) of Korea and Korea Ministry of Education. He has spoken for years on the topics listed above in class and various scholarly occasions. His favorite activities are collaborating with students for research and listening to classical music.

- Dr. SuJin Son - 
Dr. Son obtained Ph.D. at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, U.S.A. and worked as a post-doctoral research fellow under my supervision. She is currently an assistant professor at Chosun University, Gwangju, South Korea.

-Dr. Richard Ronay -
Dr. Richard Ronay completed Honors Degree (Macquarie Univ., Sydney, Australia) under my supervision and received a Ph.D. at University of Queensland. Dr. Ronay was a research fellow at Columbia University, U.S.A. and is now a tenure-track faculty member at the business school of University of Amsterdam, Amsterdam, Netherland. 

- Dr. Daisung Jang - 
Dr. Jang completed Honors Degree (Macquarie Univ., Sydney, Australia) and Master’s Degree at Ajou Univ. under my supervision and received a doctoral degree at Olin School of Business, Washington University in St. Louis, U.S.A. (with a full scholarship). He is currently appointed as an assistant professor at School of Business of the University of Queensland in Australia after having spent 2 years at the School of Business, University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, U.S..  as a research fellow.

- Dr. Junsu Park -
Dr. Park completed Master’s Degree at Ajou Univ. and received Double Doctoral Degree (August/2017) at Ajou Univ. as well as the University of Eastern Finland, Finland under my supervision. He is currently working at Bernard College, Columbia University, N.Y., U.S.A., as a research scholar.

- Mr. Dongju Lee - 
Mr. Lee completed an undergraduate degree in psychology at Carnegie Mellon University, U.S.A. He has been working as a research associate for a cross-cultural decision-making project under my supervision. Dongju is currently a doctoral student in Marketing, Olin School of Business, Washington University in Saint Louis, U.S.A. (with a full scholarship).
